In February 2026 LMS successfully completed our two-day audit for PAS 2080 conducted by BSI, with no non-conformances identified. This achievement proves that our commitment to carbon reduction is backed by strong procedures and a deep understanding of carbon management.
LMS Highways started planting trees with in 2023, we recognise that within our industry we produce a large amount of Co2 and have a responsibility to the environment beyond legal and regulatory requirements. We aim to follow and promote good sustainability practice, to reduce the environmental impacts of all our activities along with offsetting carbon as we find our way to being carbon neutral.

In effort to be more eco conscious, we have begun installing solar charging trickle batteries into our fleet. In our industry we understand we have a high ecological impact. Globally we use more concrete than any substance, bar water. That means concrete accounts for about 8% of the carbon dioxide (CO2) we emit into the atmosphere, this is substantially more than the aviation industry for example, which makes up about 2.5% of emissions.
