- Enhanced Installation Speed – By switching from existing rapid-set concrete to Premcrete Highway FC we were able to increase our output by 33.5% per night when installing full depth concrete bay replacements.
- Carbon Reduction – We completed a practical, data-driven Co2 analysis comparing the total carbon impact (including fuel, water, waste, materials, and supplier mileage) of one of our projects using Premcrete Highway FC rapid-set concrete versus the existing rapid-set concrete we’d previously used on many LMS projects and revealed an overall carbon reduction of 110+ Tonnes CO₂e.
- Optimised Resource Use – The reduced curing time and enhanced material properties allow us to deploy fewer people, plant, and equipment, cutting down operational costs.
- A Sustainable Solution – In line with our PAS2080 commitments to reduce carbon and meet National Highways goals to be net zero for maintenance & construction by 2040. This concrete mix helps reduce overall project carbon by reducing time, equipment and people on site.
