LMS Highways Successfully Complete Two-Day PAS 2080 Carbon Management Audit.

In February 2026 LMS successfully completed our two-day audit for PAS 2080 conducted by BSI, with no non-conformances identified. This achievement proves that our commitment to carbon reduction is backed by strong procedures and a deep understanding of carbon management.

PAS 2080 provides a framework for managing carbon across the lifecycle of buildings and infrastructure. It plays a crucial role in supporting the transition to a net zero carbon economy by 2050, requiring collaboration across the entire value chain.

“Achieving a faultless audit with no non-conformances reflects the hard work happening across the business from maintaining strong data and processes to embedding carbon thinking into how we deliver our projects every day. A huge well done to everyone and let’s build on this and keep pushing forward.” – Selina Hewitt – Operations Manager of LMS Highways

Achieving and maintaining this accreditation demonstrates our commitment to reducing carbon within the highways industry. It also reinforces our support for National Highways’ goal of becoming net zero. This milestone reflects the strong procedures and expertise within LMS Highways and our drive to create a more sustainable future. We are proud of our team for their dedication to carbon reduction and environmental responsibility.
