Established in 1983, LMS Highways is an innovative, employee-owned business which has grown and developed from a regional subcontractor to a national supplier of specialist highways maintenance projects, including high early strength concrete repair works and associated civil engineering projects.

We are an award-winning, ISO-assured highways maintenance provider aiming to deliver high quality, time critical, complex repair projects nationwide to our wide range of clients – from local authorities to national brand names and National Highways.

When it comes to health and safety LMS Highways are incredibly rigorous, for instance staff training and customer projects are carefully monitored within our in-house technology system. This provides an impressive service from start to finish for our customers through shift reports which are sent daily with details of any events and all the progress made on site.

We pride ourselves on our ability to provide nationwide specialist highways maintenance projects, using our bespoke, modern plant and innovative materials, to ensure projects are delivered safely, on-time and on-budget.

We received this award in recognition of our project to reduce carbon emissions after achieving our PAS2080 Accreditation in 2023, through the launch of our newly developed, carbon-friendly, rapid-set concrete mix, made in partnership with Premcrete Ltd.

Highly Commended by CIHT!

We’re proud to announce that our product partnership with Premcrete Ltd has been named Highly Commended for the CIHT Product of the Year Award.

This year saw a record number of entries to the 2025 CIHT Awards, with the judging process described as the most competitive yet. With over 480 sector leaders and changemakers attending the ceremony, this recognition is a significant achievement.

PAS2080 Accreditation

One year after achieving our full certification, LMS Highways are proud to announce that we have successfully completed our first PAS 2080:2023 surveillance audit completed by BSI.

PAS 2080 guides the management of carbon across the lifecycle of buildings and infrastructure. The PAS supports the transition to a net zero carbon economy by 2050 and requires close collaboration across value chain members.

Achieving this accreditation with no non-conformances proves our commitment to carbon reduction, backed by strong procedures and a deep understanding of carbon management.

LMS Highways partners with Premcrete

We are thrilled to announce our groundbreaking partnership with Premcrete Ltd to unveil our new rapid-set, low-carbon concrete mix.

This new concrete mix represents a major advancement in construction materials, offering an unparalleled combination of speed, strength, and low-carbon. Designed with efficiency in mind, the mix enables the installation of up to six full bays per night, dramatically reducing project timelines while minimising disruption to road users.
