COVID-19 UPDATE 14th April 2020

LMS Highways has taken the decision to operate ‘business as usual’ whilst closely monitoring the developing situation regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), and we are continuing to follow the advice from the NHS, and the UK Government. There are going to be difficult decisions to make about handling the coronavirus moving forward.

With this in mind, the decision to remain operational will continue until instructed otherwise by the UK Government. Positive measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of our staff and customers therefore the appropriate considerations have been made to our procedures during this period. As a company we are now operating a no contact policy and strictly advise the distancing guidelines are adhered to. We are no longer accepting external visitors to our office until further notice and all external meetings will be postponed where possible or delivered via video conference facilities.

How will this affect you?

We don’t anticipate any significant disruption to our work schedules and our crews will continue to deliver road marking and surface repairs across the country.

We just ask customers to please respect that our staff will no longer be entering site offices/buildings to sign in, receive briefings or pick up visitors passes etc. and that you would kindly handle these tasks outside in the open air or communicate via phone where possible.

Things are moving quickly and the government are issuing new advice on a daily basis so we will continue to update this information as required.

Thank you and stay safe.
