I.T. Manager
Danny is quite unusual in that he’s a proper I.T. nerd but actually has a lively (some would say irritating) personality to go with his keyboard skills.
Starting his professional life in retail, the highlight of which being the glamorous world of duty free at Stansted Airport, Danny was only to find his technical calling when he joined the video games mail order company Special Reserve in the early 90’s. He remained there for 15 years launching the UK’s first games retail web site, helping to launch Freeola, the independent ISP and GetDotted, a domain name reseller.
After moving to Devon and launching his own I.T. company, Danny met Wendy & Paul Winter and helped LMS Highways to develop an in-house CRM to handle quoting and cost-analysis. Danny joined the company full-time in the summer of 2014 with a remit to develop the next stages of LMS’s ambitious IT integration plans, re-launch the company web site and improve internal and external communications.
Contrary to popular opinion, Danny was never on The Only Way Is Essex. He loosely supports Torquay United and in a dramatic turn of allegiance, was persuaded (told) by his Welsh fiancé to support Wales in Rugby Union.
