Christmas arrived a little late for LMS Highways as the whole team descended upon Stratford upon Avon in January for LMS 2016, a company day and Christmas party combined!
Hosted by owners Wendy and Paul Winter, the day was a rare chance to bring together staff from all three of the company's depots to encourage excellence through collaboration and strategic development.
As well as a number of team-building activities and management insights, attendees were able to enjoy the facilities of the historic Billesley Manor hotel as a thank you for their hard work in 2015.
The day ended with a post-Christmas meal, drinks and a short awards ceremony - and much joviality.
Paul Winter, managing director explained that this was more than a company briefing event.
"This was all about bringing people together and encouraging open discussion to help us drive forward as a team in 2016 and beyond. It's without a doubt the most successful we've been at bringing our diverse and talented team together in one place and having the opportunity to spend quality time working together towards a great future. A number of very useful insights were gained from the forum and I'm looking forward to working with the management team to introduce new innovations in the coming months."
Feedback from the event has already been strong with everybody agreeing that the experience was good or excellent in an anonymous survey.
