At LMS Highways we offer a full range of white lining solutions based on a variety of materials and application techniques. Traditionally, road markings have been applied using Hot Applied Thermoplastic by either screed, extrusion or spray. However modern pressures on time-scales, environmental impacts and budgets have lead to the introduction of paint and resin based solutions.

MMA Resin based road markings are highly durable and last between 2 and 5 times as long as standard thermoplastic road markings. This makes them ideal for areas of high wear such as slip roads and roundabout approaches where frequent renewal of road markings would not be cost effective, especially when taking into consideration the cost of traffic management. Paint Based systems are quick and cost effective to apply and can be used to rejuvenate existing markings, especially in areas where they will not be overrun, such as edge lines.

The majority of road markings in the UK are still installed using thermoplastic as they offer a good compromise between cost, durability, installation time and seasonal working window. LMS Highways have been installing road markings for 30 years. All our crews are CSCS registered and our charge hands hold at least NVQ level 2 in pavement markings. We are equipped to install thermoplastic markings by screed and can also install markings by machine applied extrusion or spray as required.

All Major Types of Road Studs
LMS Highways are installers of all the major types of road studs used throughout the UK including surface mounted, inset depressible, inset glass and pedestrian crossing studs. Each product brings different benefits in terms of cost, durability, installation time and ease of maintenance etc.
10-15% cost savings when combined with other services
    Kerb To Kerb Savings
LMS Highways are uniquely placed to offer a typical saving of between 10-15% when we supply more than one service, e.g. joint repair followed by road marking reinstatement. That means a great discount and a joined up service for better accountability and reduced closure times.
